Uczelnia oferuje różnorodne płatne programy stażowe dla obcokrajowców w dziedzinie reżyserii, sztuki operatorskiej i animacji.

Training in film directing, cinematography, or animation

An entrance examination is not required. The training is a subsidiary (additional) form
of training in the above fields. It is primarily meant for those who already have some film experience obtained either in film schools or directly in film production. The training is not considered to be the post-graduate studies. Having university education is not required.
The programme of the training:
The programme consists of a theoretical as well as practical part and its character depend
on individual needs and preferences of a candidate. Before starting the training each participant chooses his/her tutor. The tutor /speaking English /is a teacher who helps to prepare the programme of the training, but most of all, he is an artistic and production supervisor
of a film the candidate makes during his/her training. The student himself chooses the classes he wishes to participate in out of all the subjects taught in a given department (directing, or cinematography) in all four years of studies.
All the classes are taught in Polish, but candidates are not required to know Polish.
The student himself decides about the number and type of practical works (films) he/she intends to do during the training. This, of course, depends on his intentions and financial resources. The participant of the training has all student rights and gets an appropriate certificate having finished the training.
Requirements:
The candidate should send to a given department a portfolio including:
- a description of his experience in film making
- an explanation why he/she wants to undertake the training
      plus his/her expectations of it
- candidate’s own works (films, videos or others) sent on a video cassette.

On the basis of the sent portfolio (including the practical works) the head of the relevant department decides whether the application gets accepted.
The training gets started formally when a tutor has been chosen and the training programme accepted which finally leads to signing a contract stating the financial conditions and the duration of the training. The most suitable training should last one academic year starting  on 1st October.
The deadline for sending the applications and portfolio’s is end of June, each year.

Financial conditions:
The fee for the training consists of two parts:
- a fixed payment of 4.000 € which covers theoretical tuition including participation in practical group works
- the payment of  a total film budget of a short fiction/documentary film the student intends to make during the training
